I’m so excited to support my friend Kathryn on her journey to become Deschutes County’s next Commissioner. Kathryn is bold and tenacious and I know she will bring that spirit to the County. We have worked together on issues like affordable housing—the North Point project—which will bring affordable and workforce housing to Redmond. We have worked on CORE3 Emergency Management, youth mental health, like Alyssa’s law, and bringing youth mental health beds to Deschutes County. She’s a fighter, she’s a friend, and I know she’s going to do great.

Kathryn and I came to the Redmond City Council together, and gaining her as a friend has been one of the best moments of my term of service. She is a brilliant, dedicated, fierce woman who is compassionate and kind. She ran for and serves on City Council because she believes that service and dedication is the mission.
I have watched her tackle issue after issue, from homelessness and wildfires, from economic development to land use. Every issue that we face at the County level, Kathryn has already dealt with at the City level. She has taken the time to become a well-versed expert on these subjects so that she can make the right call.
